I have a few questions, i am living in Auckland and thought about giving Capoeira a go after seeing some guys doing it in london. Can girls join, do you have to be particularly strong?? I would love to get into it it looks like loads of fun!
Suppose its like most things just takes practise hey!
thanks

Capoeira Mandinga Aotearoa has plenty of female students and female teachers as well. Everyone is welcome and although physical strength can help, wiliness and cunning can often outwit even the most intimidating looking of fellas. Remember, size doesn't matter, it's what you do with it.
You should definitely try capoeira and and I suggest committing to a beginner's block course for sure. New Zealanders are more friendly than Londoners and you shouldn't have any problems at your first class. It IS loads of fun and practice does make perfect so get in there and give it it go.
