Samba de Roda Music Workshops:

For those keen to learn about the musical side of 'Samba de Roda', we will be running a series of four workshops focusing on the percussion and songs that give this vibrant dance event it's awesome groove.

Afro based rhythm with traditional instruments of Atabaque (African style conga drum), Pandeiro, cow bells and Berimbau, combined with call and response songs that gets everyone involved.

Participants are encouraged to sign up for the four sessions as a block course to develop towards a better understanding and ability by the end of the course.
